Important Notes:
1.) Firewood prices have increased all over North America this year due to
transportation costs, high demand and other market factors related to the forestry industry problems.
However prices are lower this year than last year.

2.) Dry seasoned birch firewood is in very short supply again this year, almost ALL of the birch for sale
in Southern Alberta has been cut this year (Feb/Mar and throught the summer of 09) which means
it is NOT seasoned properly, birch requires at least a year to dry properly. Our birch was all cut 2 years ago
and is ready to burn now with a test moisture range of 17-25% which is considered as good.
